A New Kansas Dog Rescue Serving the Wichita Area
K-9 Karma is an all volunteer all breed Kansas dog rescue serving the Wichita area. Not only do we believe in Adoption Advocacy but we proactivlely seek to address issues such as pet retention within the home and canine overpopulation through education concerning commercial breeders and spay and neuter advocacy. K-9 Karma was founded by individuals who never lost faith in the beliefs they cherished in their youth. We believe people can make a difference. We believe we can make the world a better place. We believe that rescuing dogs is a transformative experience. We believe that whether you adopt and rescue one dog or you actively work with a rescue, your life will be changed forever. While the organization itself is new the founders are not new to the rescue field and have several decades of combined experience both as active boardmembers of rescue groups within the community and as liscensed foster homes. Most importantly we have a passion for animals and the love and companionship they provide.
At K-9 Karma we believe in saving dogs by empowering people! Unlike many larger shelters or organizations, we welcome initiative, input, involvement and creativity from our volunteers and are not hampered by rigid structures.
